About us
We grow ad revenue through cutting-edge ad tech and a team of awesome people. Founded by 2 former Google executives, Tobin Page and Colm Dolan, they saw firsthand how publishers struggle to keep up with the complex advertising landscape. They knew there was no shortage of ad tech out there for publishers, but nobody seemed to be helping publishers to combine all of these together effectively. It became very clear there was a massive opportunity to find a way to do this so publishers could focus on what they do best: create content. We have built an award-winning platform which is fueling our 650% growth year on year.
Headquartered in the trendy Sydney suburb of Surry Hills but with remote working as a flexible option Publift is now a team of 22 loaded with expertise, passion and a cheeky sense of humour. We fill the resource and knowledge gap often faced by digital publishers with the ultimate goal of lifting ad revenue (while having a bit of fun). The Role
We’re looking for the right person to captain our Account Management team in Australia and manage our biggest customers in the region. They will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among key business customers while also developing strategies to increase revenue for their businesses. The right candidate will grow account revenue, execute customer strategy and help develop the Account Management team’s core skillset. They will report directly to Publift’s Commercial Manager and be the crucial link between management and the customer team. People management training and development will be provided on the job.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
AM Team Management
- Be part of the Publift leadership Team with strategic contribution
- Manage a team of 6 people & growing.
- Formulate Career Development Plan for each – Training to be given
- Coach & Mentor Team
- Resource analysis & allocation
- Setup team processes & workflows that can easily be replicated anywhere
Industry Knowledge
- Analyse opportunities & forecast strategic changes within the industry
- Work with product, sales & leadership team to prioritise Publift’s strategy
- Keep abreast of big industry changes, eg. cookieless world
Client Management
- Analyse BoB & prioritise projects
- Create account plans for strategic clients
- Ensure clients get a 90% customer satisfaction rate
- Work out how to scalably maximise revenue from agencies in Australia
- Collaborate with product team to ensure maximum efficiency in workflows
- Personalised scalability – want to scale but still keep that personal touch
- Promoting Publift’s platform and services to existing and prospective clients
Partnerships
- Day to Day ownership of SSP relationship – implement strategic plans to ensure Publift are maximising relationship.
- Develop strategic plans with these partners
- Collaborate with product team to ensure maximum efficiency in workflows
- Use pre-existing relationships to maximise advertisers spend
Revenue
- Drive quarterly revenue target goals – give updates to the leadership team on revenue and forecasting
- Liaise with Business Intelligence team on Global expansion & analyse opportunity

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in digital media. Broad understanding of the online advertising ecosystem.
- 3+ years of demonstrated partner relations, account management and sales skills at a tech firm or publisher/media organization.
