Sydney, AU, December 13, 2021 - Publift will be ending the year on a high note after winning the 2021 Google Certified Publishing Partner (GCPP) Transformation Award and being listed as the Top 100 fastest growing companies in Australia as identified by The Australian Financial Review's (AFR) Fast 100 list.
At the GCPP summit this year, Publift was announced as the only business to clinch the Transformation award for undergoing a major business restructuring to support their growth. Publift was also identified as the 60th fastest growing company in Australia and fastest growing ad tech publishing partner. With a compound annual growth rate of 51.9%, the business finished the 2021 financial year with a revenue of $30.9m.
Publift had undergone a huge structural transformation to adapt to their new phase of progress. According to the business, the operations team was restructured into three different functions — Yield Management, Account Management, and Support. The founder and CEO of the business, Colm Dolan, said the restructure has enabled the team to function more productively, allowing them to maximize usage of their yield management expertise, provide excellent support to publishers, and make publishers more money.
“Being a Google Certified Publishing Partner is already an achievement in itself — it means that Publift has been vetted by Google and is constantly upheld to extremely high standards. To have won a GCPP award is to be recognized as a leader amongst the pool of the top performers in the industry.” Currently, there are only 54 GCPPs globally.
On their achievement of being on the AFR Fast 100 list, Dolan added, “We are thankful to our team who has worked resiliently this past year! 2021 was truly a testing year but we are grateful to have been recognized for our actions — it is a testament to our commitment to improving the lives of publishers.”
This is the second time the adtech startup has earned both these achievements. They first won the Transformation award in 2019 for their Fuse tag that gained their clients an average of 55% uplift in ad revenue. They were also the 14th fastest growing startup in 2020
